In the fast water at the Race or the rips at Montauk, subtlety is drowned out by the roar of the current. The Bulkhead is built for that environment -- a large-headed streamer that displaces water with the confidence of a freighter entering a canal. Stripers holding in heavy current cannot see everything that passes, but they can feel the Bulkhead's pressure wave from several feet away. In the arms race between current and fly, this pattern brings a cannon.
