On the coast, it imitates glass minnows and silversides skipping across the flats. Inland, it bounces along New River ledges convincing smallmouth that something small and delicious is making a mistake. The lead eyes give it that jigging, darting action that says 'I am a baitfish experiencing an existential crisis' in a language that predatory fish understand fluently.
